Role Summary

Aubay UK is seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join a fast paced team within our Global Energy client's business. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You will work closely with the Software Engineers, Architects, Data Scientist, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other team members to develop and build middleware solution/system for Finance billing, purchasing, sales and reconciliation for EV transactions. You will work on both the back end and front-end of applications as well as develop fully fledged platforms (with databases, micro services, servers).

Required Skills and Experience

  • AWS - cloud
  • GoLang - backend
  • Terraform - IaaC
  • Relation/Non-Relational Database (Postgre/MongoDB, etc.)
  • ReactJS - frontend
  • GiHub/GitHub Actions - repository and automation
  • Proficiency in Functional & Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns with expertise in various cloud-native technologies (GoLang, React.js, React Native, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, Graph QL, etc)
  • A thorough understanding of containers and functions. Deployment experience with Kubernetes (K8s) or Functions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to write clean structured code
  • Ability to design efficient software architecture and implement it
  • Ability to create efficient and eye-catching pixel perfect user interfaces
  • Ability to automate the mundane tasks to improve efficiency
  • Must understand the Scrum Agile methodology and have worked on a Scrum team.

Role Accountabilities

  • Be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
  • You should also be a team player with a flair for visual design and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the Software Engineers, Architects, Data Scientist, BA, Product Managers, and other team members to develop and build middleware solution/system for Finance billing, purchasing, sales and reconciliation for EV transactions.
  • Work with development teams to ideate software solutions
  • Work with the business to ensure requirements and specifications are true to designed solution
  • Build the back-end and front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Write technical documentation
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Setup and improve CICD pipeline
  • Optimize performance of backend systems and websites through benchmarking

Salary: £65,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
